As of right now, the Daily Profit Target uses a dollar amount. But many times, the maximum dollar amount we can make daily will change from day to day and during the day.
It would be nice if we could switch the daily profit target to a percentage (%) based on the maximum credit we can capture (represented on the TAT dashboard as "Premium Captured").
For example - you aim to collect $1000 of credit daily, so you've set a daily profit target to $800.
Scenario 1) one of your trades did not enter, so now you've only collected $750, therefore your daily profit target of $800 is no longer applicable and must be adjusted.
Scenario 2) all of your trades entered and you've collected $1000, but one of them has gotten stopped, so now the maximum credit you can capture is $500... again, your daily profit target of $800 is not applicable and must be adjusted.
If the daily profit target was set to a percentage of the maximum credit able to be captured, for example 80%, then in...
Scenario 1) the daily profit target would be 80% of $750.
Scenario 2) the daily profit target would be initially 80% of $1000, then after the stopped trade it would be 80% of $500.
In both scenarios, the user would not have to make any adjustments to the daily profit target.
