At 1/10 the size, the XSP is a great instrument for those with smaller accounts and/or who would like to test trades but don't want to paper trade the SPX.

Another vote for XSP. I’d like to set up a couple of small accounts for ‘ride or die’ trades. SPY positions would have to be closed to avoid assignment risk and would break PDT rules for a small account if they were 0DTE. XSP would be perfect.

I basically want this for 7 day held to maturity straddles and strangles - my account is too small to do SPX and I prefer not to do SPY

Since liquidity can be very poor for stops, could allow trading on XSP if no stops. I know I would not use trades with stops for XSP.

Gary H agree they should communicate that it is NOT recommended for trades that need a stop but it would be nice to have. dealing with expiry on spy is annoying.
